The problem: Deliveries didn't confirm installation readiness.
Each installation depended on materials arriving from multiple vendors through separate parcel and truck-delivery paths. Tracking individual shipments did not establish whether the store had received and accepted everything needed for the work.
The installation was already scheduled.
Materials moved on different schedules while the store and installation team worked toward one planned date.
Delivery didn't mean installation-ready.
A delivery scan could not account for missing items, damage, or rejected materials. An installer could arrive while essential requirements remained unresolved.
The challenge wasn't simply tracking shipments. It was knowing whether the installation could begin.
Research: Mapping shipment paths and readiness decisions.
I mapped vendor, carrier, and store handoffs to identify where pickup, delivery, receipt, and acceptance affected installation readiness.

Design: A coordinator view for installation readiness.
The central design decision was to organize deliveries around the installation they supported. The historical portal grouped shipment information by project; the detailed coordinator view brings receipt, acceptance, and outstanding issues into that same readiness decision.
Original Frito-Lay portal
The shipped portal connected project-level shipment grouping with delivery details and tracking.
Review the installation.
See shipments associated with a campaign and store, including deliveries that remain missing or unresolved before installation.
Compare required deliveries.
Keep campaign and store context visible across the shipments required for installation.
Find unresolved shipments.
Identify deliveries that still need coordinator attention before installation.
Inspect the shipment.
Inspect individual Pick Slip records, carrier information, and receipt or acceptance conditions within an installation.
Review the carrier record.
Keep the individual shipment’s carrier information connected to its Pick Slip.
Check receipt conditions.
Examine receipt and acceptance details before confirming that the delivery is resolved.
Follow delivery updates.
Follow individual parcel or truck-delivery updates while retaining the connection to the larger installation.
Inspect shipment events.
Review progress for the individual parcel or truck delivery.
Retain installation context.
Keep delivery updates connected to the campaign, store, and installation they support.
A detailed coordinator view
Review required deliveries, identify unresolved materials, and distinguish delivery status from installation readiness.

Grouping deliveries around the installation made readiness assessable across separate shipment paths. Final confirmation remained with the coordinator.
