A proposed prototype, the Customer Portal was envisioned as a self-service revision of the customer portal to give them more analytics over their shipping history. The portal's main purpose was to provide customers with a more hands-on approach to their shipping preferences, their repeat carriers and build a network within the logistics industry. The experience shows what things could potentially be tracked over time to assist customers with their daily, weekly, monthly and yearly shipping needs.
